The Red HouseLocated in the picturesque Test Valley Whitchurch with river walks and breath taking scenery, The Red House welcomes everyone including dogs and dirty boots! Work up an appetite and try our crispy twice cooked pork belly or for a lighter bite, try our home cured salt beef with potato salad and fresh crusty bread. The Red House is conveniently located between the M4, M3, A34 and A303 with a private car park and garden area, offering alfresco dining depending on the weather. We are open from 12pm daily unless requested earlier. Ideal for a business lunch, we offer all ‘mod cons’ such as Wi-Fi, and boast a wide range of traditional bitters from our local brewery Andwells with more to follow. Currently, our weekday and Saturday opening hours are 12-2.30PM for lunch and 6.30-9.30 PM for dinner and on Sunday 12 - 4 PM for lunch and 6 - 9.30PM for dinner.
The restaurant is a small but perfectly formed dining experience with an intimate atmosphere. We offer a superb wine menu with 12 wines by the glass ranging from Sauvignon Blanc to Sangiovese or perhaps a delicious Champagne cocktail. Our produce is all sourced locally and enables us to offer such abundant delights as Wolverton Park beef, Test Valley smoked trout, fresh peppery watercress and local cheese’s all prepared by our head Chef Anthony Daude. We look forward to seeing you soon. |
